In light of the increased interest in PV Technology, by both domestic consumers of electricity and businesses for self-production purposes, the University of Cyprus and the PHAETHON Centre of Excellence, in collaboration with the Committee of the citizen-led “Photovoltaics For All” Initiative, are co-organising a public lecture on “Photovoltaics: What you need to know”. A dedicated Q&A session will follow the presentations on the day to field practical audience queries.

The public outreach event, which caters to both laymen/women and those who handle and install PV systems, is being supported by the Cyprus Confederation of Professional Craftsmen and Shopkeepers Povek Cyprus, the Cyprus Consumers Association, the Cyprus Association of Licensed Electrical Contractors and the Pancyprian Organization of large families.

The event will be held under the framework of the activities of “PHAETHON” Teaming project through the “Sustainable Energy Transition Technologies” Initiative of the PHAETHON Centre of Excellence for Research and Innovation in Intelligent, Efficient and Sustainable Energy Solutions.
