The Consortium Partners assembled in the Netherlands for the 4th PHAETHON Teaming Project Meeting on 3-4 April 2025, hosted by one of the Advanced Partners in the Project, the University of Groningen, which is the country’s second oldest university.
The morning session kicked off with a Welcome and Opening Remarks by Prof. Klaus Hubacek and the Project Coordinator, Prof. George Georghiou. Day 1 then continued with presentations outlining the progress of several key Work Packages, as well as dedicated workshops, with a fascinating tour of the uniquely designed Energy Academy Europe building, one of the most sustainable buildings in the Netherlands with a BREEAM rating of “Outstanding”.
Day 2 was just as impactful, with WP updates, critical workshops, and discussions on the way forward as the Consortium delineates the next steps in the PHAETHON Centre of Excellence transformation to excellence.
