The Consortium Partners assembled in Cyprus once again for the 3rd Teaming Project Meeting, between 24 and 25 October 2024.
This time, the University of Cyprus, as the Project Coordinator, welcomed representatives from the partner institutions in Limassol, immediately following the hugely successful SyNERGY MED 2024, which was spearheaded by the PHAETHON Centre of Excellence.
The meeting kicked off with welcome addresses and opening remarks by Professors Constantinos Christofides and George E Georghiou, the Project Coordinators at UCY, who thanked partners for their invaluable support and input, underscoring the positive trajectory of PHAETHON CoE as it continues to go from strength to strength.
Over the course of the two-day meeting, the Consortium Partners had the opportunity to dive into the progress of the Work Packages, as well as discuss and better delineate the next steps for the coming 6 months.
Moreover, the project meeting featured a series of important workshops connected to the vital work being done and that will be undertaken in advancing PHAETHON CoE, including on the joint research strategy and scientific training programme.
Lastly, the partners agreed to reconvene in Groningen, in the Netherlands, for the 4th Project Meeting, as they continue to collectively work to develop the PHAETHON R&I Centre of Excellence in intelligent, efficient, and sustainable energy solutions.
